I would like to give some feedback to SGSA regarding your experiences of permitted standing, the effectiveness of the barriers and sight line preservation etc.
Licenses were only given to Chelsea FC, Cardiff City FC, Manchester City FC, Manchester United FC and Tottenham Hotspur FC.
If you have attended matches after these clubs have implemented permitted standing I would be grateful if you could let me have your comments relating to the following questions –
Where were the permitted areas situated – in the home or in the away fan area or both?
Did it prevent or limit the crowd surge at exciting times during the game?
If there were any incidents was it because the fans rushed down the gangways or did they climb over the heightened barriers?
Did the standing section cause sight line problems?
For the majority of the match did the standing fans stay in place or roam around?
Did the stewards have any concerns you were aware of?
Did you feel more or less safe with these barriers?
Have you any photos or video of any incidents?
Any other relevant comments?
